Mona is also good later in the game, but not now. Her ult is basically "your next attack with another character deals ten bazillion damage". That's why Mona is also called a DPS character - damage per screenshot. People love showing up their favorites doing big dmg while hiding the Mona in their team. Again, for early game it's irrelevant to you.

All Anemo characters are "fine" because of the verdant venerer artifact set. Make the set once give it to whichever Anemo you like. It makes enemies take more damage of Anemo+Whatever other element the enemy has on it. So Anemo supports are all automatically good, the question is what else does the Anemo support bring. And Sayu brings superior movement for exploration, and healing. Easy S tier pick for desert exploration. Powercreeped by Ifa who can heal less but fly. Or Jean who doesn't have movement at all but a way stronger heal (so she's for the battle team not the exploration team).

I am not at the point of having a team just for exploration, I mainly use Barbara for healing. Her ability is nice because it inflicts wet on those around you, so I can put it on and Switch to Beidou and magnify her electro attacks.

Anemo is a very supportive element. It's bad for dealing damage though so any main DPS of the Anemo element has a hard time. Faruzan only exists to make it easier for the second Anemo in your team to deal more damage. She increases Anemo damage dealt. So, best is to ignore her and not use her at all. Because it's unlikely that you will use an Anemo main dps at all. Sucrose is probably the strongest 4 star Anemo support in the game with the VV set. But she doesn't heal and doesn't help with exploration. So no need to build her now. Later she'll almost certainly belong in one or your main teams though because she buffs your main DPS EM stat and this gives you a huge damage boost.

You can get their constellations in the monthly rotating free currency paimon shop. But even at C6, both characters are not so good. Still, as long as they're working, keep building. As you progress through the game, building gets easier. So even if you bench Amber later, you can still take her weapon and artifacts to the next character then and quickly grind the character and talent levels up again.

His hydro damage, hydro shield and permanently making enemies wet while not even on field is what steals Barbara's lunch money. But the build doesn't matter so much early on.

Based. Either way, best hydro dps in the game is now C0 Yelan. It's a bug. Needs skin and coop mode to replicate. Closing game restarting at the right time apparently. Don't replicate it, mihoyo punishes accounts that abuse bugs on purpose.

Sadly the Archon Quest is the most boring one compared to the optional World Quests and in the Enemy Design. The old Tighnari Voiceactor Filler-Arc was wild back then.

That does not always go for the rest of the content though, which can really drag and feel repetitive. I haven't actually explored much of Fontaine at all. But there are some interesting bits to the story that I want to continue it for.

Furina, who you don't have yet, scales on the amount of healing dealt to all characters and the amount of damage your characters take. Your party will fight in the circle, take damage, immediately heal again. Furina stonks. Barbara E is forgettable, it's single target, good for exploring useless for Furina. Barbara's ult is a full party heal it's great. Once every rotation and then it's over. No delay no heal over time nothing. So in total HP healed, she loses to Charlotte. Again, this aspect will be important for you later but not yet.

Wow!!! I just pulled Keqing, then I pulled some blue weapon. Then I went to level up Keqing which gave me another Acquaint Fate and I figured that I may as well go and pull it, I didn't really expect anything but I ended up pulling Jean!!! So now I have Keqing and Jean!!!
