Nip companies have apple-like mentality. They want their systems completely closed and verticalized. Sony chip, on a sony consumer electronic, with sony coding, connected on sony network, buying sony services. They basically self-excluded from the internet, giving space to the rise murkoid internet giants. Web 20. was completely built by murkoid companies on standardized hardware. Even microsoft before that always made stuff for standardized software. Nintendo and Sony are the only ones that managed to survive on this verticalized model. Now, thanks to Apple, everybody is doing it.
